My 12 Journeys ("we," "us") provides guided personal-growth journeys by Nicholas Townsend Smith. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the control you have over your information.
What we collect
- Account details — your name and email when you sign up (or via Google sign-in).
- Your journey data — your intake answers, progress, and the reflections you write. This is personal to you.
- Payment details — handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number; we keep only a customer/subscription reference.
- Basic technical data — standard logs needed to operate and secure the service.
How we use it
To deliver your journeys and save your progress across devices, process your subscription, provide support, and keep the service secure. We do not sell your personal information.
Your reflections are private
Your reflections and progress are protected at the database level. Only you can see them — plus any coach or therapist you explicitly choose to share with. You can revoke that access at any time. Our team and administrators cannot read your reflections unless you have shared them with that person.
Service providers
We use trusted processors to run the service: Supabase (database & authentication), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments), and Google (optional sign-in). Course content is assembled by AI (OpenAI, Anthropic) strictly from Nicholas's own source material — your personal reflections are not sent to those services.
Data security
Data is encrypted in transit, and access to personal data is enforced by database-level Row-Level Security so users can only reach their own information (and coaches only what was shared with them).
Your rights
You can view and update your information, and you can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time under Account settings. Depending on where you live, you may have rights under the GDPR or CCPA, including access, correction, and erasure. Contact us to exercise them.
Data retention
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, your profile, progress, reflections, entitlements, and sharing records are removed, and any active subscription is canceled.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising trackers.
Children
This service is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 16.
